Scheveningen’s beachfront is 3 km long and lies between the pier, the harbour and the Boulevard. On sunny days, you can join the crowds to bask in the sunlight and enjoy the sand and the sea. Water sports, beach sailing, kite flying, fishing, hiking or simply relaxing: there’s something for everyone. Be sure to visit the buzzing outdoor terraces and cafés.
Scheveningen lies close to The Hague. Aside from the beachfront and the sea, the city has loads to offer. Lining the Boulevard, you will find a broad selection of shops, restaurants and nightlife haunts, including the well-known Crazy Pianos. Combine your trip to Scheveningen with a visit to the theatre, casino or cinema. If you still have energy after shopping till you drop and enjoying a brilliant evening out, be sure to visit the lighthouse, the former fisher folk’s dwellings and the old church.
The dunes surrounding Scheveningen provide you with ample opportunity to go for a stroll, cycle or horseback riding adventure. And let’s not forget to mention all the wellness facilities and the challenging golf course. The big attractions in the area include Panorama Mesdag, Madurodam, Omniversum and Duinrell. Of course, there’s plenty to do in The Hague as well. How about a visit to ‘Escher in het Paleis’ (permanenent exhibition), the Binnenhof (inner court), Vredespaleis (Peace Palace) or the ‘Mauritshuis’ (art museum).

Can’t wait to party? Almost weekly, special events can be found in and around Scheveningen. The most well-known is certainly Flag Day (‘Vlaggetjesdag’), celebrating of the first herring ( Hollandse Nieuwe) at Scheveningen harbour. Not to mention the annual International Fireworks Festival, ‘Schollenpop’ (free music festival), City Pier City Run, North Sea Regatta and International Kite Festival.

Our delicious breakfast is served from 8 am to 11 am on mondays till saturdays and consists of fresh coffee and tea, orange juice, croissants and freshly baked sandwiches. On sunday we welcome you from 8 am till noon. Would you rather have your breakfast in your own room? Let us know!
You may check out any time before 12.00 hours. This should provide you enough leeway to get going in your own time, enjoy breakfast and pack your bags. Planning to check out before 07.00 hours or after 12.00 hours? No problem you let the reception know the day before.
You can hand in your room key at reception. A good idea, since you won’t run the risk of losing it on the beach or out on the town. Take good care of your key if you decide to take it along. And don’t forget to hand it in again when checking out.
We like clean rooms. You too? That’s why we clean them daily. If you would like a clean bathroom or beach towels, lay the old ones on the bathroom floor.
